F.A.Q.

1. Is Romania a safe country?
Romania is a safe country, even safer then some of the other contries in  Europe. No one will  throw you off the motorcycle in traffic to take it.

We have few cases of stolen motorcycles compaired to  other countries. Some simple safty precautions can avoid thefts.

We had no cases of terorism here.

Safety precautions should be taken as:

- don't leave the kyes in the ignition unsupervised

- don't leave your valubles in plain sight unsupervised

- a simple locked chain applied to the motorcycle while in a parking

- lock luggages and motorcycle cases

2. What happens in case of cancellation?
In case of cancellation of a tour up to the 30th day prior to the beginning date of the trip, we can refund you the advance payment given for the tour part excluding any payment given for vehicle rent.  Any vehicle rent or flight booking payment its not refundable.  Any hotel booking separate from a tour its subject to  the specific contract terms and conditions.  We can also offer you the posibility of having same tour or trip at a later date, if availeble or other type of tour or trip at a later date. Transfer of the already made payment to other person its also possible.  If the tour was purchesed with a "no cancellation" policy, then any payment made cannot be refunded, but transfer to other person its still possible. In case the cancellation of the tour part with or without vehicle rent is made from the 30th day prior to arrival, we are entitle to charge    any payment already made, we can also accept to    transfer the payment to other person. In Romania most of the hotels and public areas have free internet connection available. In tours you may also have mobile internet available.

We can also provide you with a Romanian prepaid SIM card for your phone for 12 euro with 5 GB internet  per month or trip.

In tours we can also give access to a phone to GSM call your loved ones for free, but only for maximum 5 minutes for 2    times/tour.

We cannot provide 100% covarage as some of the remote mountains areas have no GSM or internet signal, but those are small parts of the total trip or tour and emergecy services are availeble there too.

4. Do people in Romania talk English?
85% of the Romanians in big cities, hotels, guest houses     and big tourist areas speak English!

If you go in areas more remote or small towns you may not find a engligh speaker, but people are usuly helpful and will try to help as much as possible even if they don't know english.

For such cases, if you book your trip with us, even if you aren't in a guided tour, you can call us and we will translate for you on phone.

5. Is a trip to Romania cheaper than to other countries in Europe?
Certainly it is cheaper  for food and drinks in restaurants and many other services. The quality vehicle rentals, hotels and guest houses in touristic areas or walking distance to old city center aren't much cheaper then in other European countries, but you can get, for sure, better quality for same price you would give in other west European countries. The fuel may not be much cheaper and can increese the cost of your trip. In toatal though a trip to Romania its much cheaper then a trip to any west European contires.
